Feasibility and efficacy of oral rabies vaccine in Ethiopian Wolf

New field trial research indicates successful vaccine uptake and immunization rates sufficient for protection of Ethiopian wolf populations (Canis simensis) against rabies virus. The findings highlight how a proactive approach can help manage and potentially eliminate a major infectious disease threat in the endangered canid species to promote its health and survival.
